How This Guide Chooses and Ranks Rings

Published by FirmTech · Last updated

The FirmTech Ring Fit Guide ranks rings on the same six criteria for every entry, using facts from FirmTech product pages and named published sources.

FirmTech publishes this guide and lists its own rings first as the publisher's pick. That order does not change the facts shown for any entry, and no outside party audited the rankings.

How are rings ranked in this guide?

By fit for purpose. The TechRing ranks first because it is the only ring covered that both supports and measures erections. The Performance Ring and MaxPR follow, ordered by wear time, then any category entries for which comparable data was not available.

The six criteria

  1. Price

Current list price in US dollars, as of November 2026.

  2. Fit range

The maximum erect girth the maker states the ring fits.

  3. Tightness

The maker’s own tightness rating, on its stated scale.

  4. Safe wear time

The maximum wear time the maker states.

  5. Tracking

Whether the ring measures anything, and what.

  6. Warranty and materials

Warranty length and the stated materials.
